Dry Rabbit is a guide to alcohol-free drinks in Greater Boston: which bars, restaurants, cafés and bottle shops serve or sell them, what they pour, what it costs, and when we last read the menu.
Who runs it
Dry Rabbit is run by DRY RABBIT LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company.
How listings are read
- A place is listed when its own menu, website or shelf names alcohol-free drinks. Each drink is listed as the venue names it, with its price when the menu prints one, and every place page shows the date we last read its menu.
- Software reads the menus, menu pictures and PDFs, using an AI model. A drink whose ingredients name alcohol isn’t listed unless we check by hand that it’s the alcohol-free version.
- Menus are read again on a schedule: every month or two, and every week for the places people ask about most. A place whose drinks may have changed carries a “Check before you go” note.
- Something wrong? Every place page has “Something changed? Tell us.” You can also reach us through Contact.
Not for sale
Nobody can pay to be listed, to change a listing, a label or a score, or to be named Rabbit’s Choice. Paid placements are paused; when they come back, each one is labeled “Sponsored” and never changes the order of a list or a score. We earn money from our shop and from retailer links on the Bottle Shelf: as an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. How we score explains Rabbit’s Choice and the menu score.
No ad pixels
The site carries no advertising or social-media pixels. We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, and count searches and taps on our own pages anonymously. Privacy has the details.
Where we are
Greater Boston is our first city: Boston’s neighborhoods, Cambridge, Somerville and nearby towns, with a few day trips such as Salem.
