Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and DRY RABBIT LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company (“Dry Rabbit”, “we”), for using dryrabbit.com and the Dry Rabbit iOS and Android apps (together, “Dry Rabbit”). By using Dry Rabbit you agree to them. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle information.

1. Using Dry Rabbit
Dry Rabbit is a guide to alcohol-free drinks and the places, events and people around them. You can browse without an account. Please use Dry Rabbit lawfully and don’t interfere with it: no scraping at a scale that burdens the service, no attempts to get around security or rate limits, no automated accounts, and no using Dry Rabbit to send spam or to harm others.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 to create an account. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in email secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. One person per account; business accounts are covered in section 8. You can delete your account at any time from the account deletion page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Community guidelines.
3. What you post
You keep ownership of the posts, comments, photos, ratings, check-ins, plans and tips you share (“your content”). You give Dry Rabbit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, resize or crop), display and distribute your content in order to run, improve and promote Dry Rabbit, including in the apps, The Weekly Hop newsletter and our social accounts. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared by others, kept in backups for a limited time, or needed for legal reasons.
Only post content you have the right to share. Don’t post other people’s personal information, or photos of people without their permission. If you own or work for a venue, say so when you post about it.
4. Community rules and moderation
The Community guidelines are part of these terms. We review reports and may remove content, limit features or close accounts that break them, with or without notice. We aren’t required to review everything posted and aren’t responsible for what members post, but we act on reports. To report content, use Report on the post or contact us.
5. Listings and drink information
We work to keep listings accurate: we read venues’ own menus and pages and recheck them regularly. But menus, hours, prices and availability change, and venues make mistakes. Check with the venue before you go, especially if it matters to you whether a drink is truly alcohol-free.
“Alcohol-free” drinks may contain up to 0.5% alcohol by volume; where we know a drink is 0.0% we say so. Bar-made mocktails can include ingredients such as bitters or extracts that contain alcohol. If you avoid alcohol for health, recovery, pregnancy, religious or other reasons, ask staff about ingredients. Dry Rabbit is not a health service and nothing on it is medical advice.
Ratings and posts from members are their own opinions. Ratings shown from outside sources, such as Google, come from those sources and aren’t Dry Rabbit’s.
6. AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence. Ask Dry Rabbit uses an AI model to understand your question and search the guide; its answers can be incomplete or wrong, so treat them as a starting point. To get conversations going, Dry Rabbit writes some Community posts itself, with the help of AI, as the Community guidelines explain. Some product images on the Bottle Shelf are AI illustrations and are captioned as such.
7. Affiliate links and sponsored placements
Dry Rabbit earns money in a few clearly labeled ways. Links on the Bottle Shelf go to retailers, including Amazon, that may pay us a commission on purchases, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, Dry Rabbit earns from qualifying purchases. Venues can pay for sponsored placements, which are always labeled “Sponsored” and never change our organic rankings or what we say about a place.
8. Business accounts and sponsorships
If you claim a listing, you confirm that you’re authorized to act for that business and that what you tell us about it is accurate. We may verify claims and may decline or remove them.
Sponsored campaigns must be truthful, relevant to alcohol-free drinking, and lawful, and may not promote alcoholic products, tobacco, cannabis, gambling or health claims we can’t substantiate. We screen campaigns and may decline, pause or remove any campaign. Prices are shown before checkout and payments are processed by Stripe. Monthly plans renew until cancelled and can be cancelled in the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals. If we decline or can’t run a paid campaign, we’ll refund the unused portion.
9. Shop purchases
Dry Rabbit merch is sold by DRY RABBIT LLC. Items are printed on demand by our production partner and shipped to US addresses; payment is processed by Stripe. Prices, shipping and any sales tax are shown before you pay. Because each item is made to order, we can’t accept returns for change of mind, but if an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo and we’ll replace it or refund you. Purchases made on other retailers’ sites through the Bottle Shelf are between you and that retailer.
10. Our content
The Dry Rabbit name, logo, rabbit artwork, design, guides, editorial writing and the selection and arrangement of listings belong to Dry Rabbit or its licensors. You may share links and short quotes with credit; please don’t copy the guide wholesale or use our marks in a way that suggests we endorse you. Photos and content from other sources are credited and remain theirs.
If you believe something on Dry Rabbit infringes your copyright, contact us with the work, where it appears, and your contact details, and we’ll respond promptly.
11. Disclaimers and liability
Dry Rabbit is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy of listings, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We aren’t responsible for venues, events, retailers or other sites we link to, or for what happens when you visit them.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dry Rabbit won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Dry Rabbit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify Dry Rabbit against claims arising from content you post or your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.
12. Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any dispute that isn’t resolved will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you and Dry Rabbit consent to their jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. When changes are significant we’ll say so on the site or by email before they take effect; continuing to use Dry Rabbit after that means you accept them. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Questions: contact us.
